CNC operator in the Netherlands
Our client is a fast-growing manufacturing company that specializes in precision machining and assembly services for various industries. We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our team and contribute to our success. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Job Summary:
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components based on engineering specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, such as metal and plastic, and use your technical skills to program machines and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce parts and components. • Use programming software to create and modify CNC programs.
- Load raw materials into machines and monitor the manufacturing process to ensure that parts are produced to the required specifications.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment as needed. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- EU nationality
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with programming software, such as Mastercam or GibbsCAM.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
